About the Guests

Ken Turner

Ken has been employed by the American Red Cross , Greater Buffalo Chapter since 1982 and serves as the Senior Director of Emergency Services. In his capacity, he is responsible for the development of the chapter's emergency response during individual and community disasters, coordinating emergency communications between the military and their families and supervising international tracing services as well as governmental affairs.

 

Cheryl Buttino

Cheryl is the Director of Senior Services for Schiller Park Community Services, Inc. She supervises daily operation of the Schiller Park Senior Center including the social work, activities, and transportation programs. Cheryl has worked for the Erie County Department of Senior Services Cluster Program since 1987. She currently serves on the Erie County Department of Senior Services Emergency Preparedness Committee.

 

Wendy Danna

Wendy has been a caregiver to her mother for about five and a half years after her mother had a bad stroke. Wendy, who is an R.N., is there for her Mom 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Wendy is active in her community as a caregiving advocate. She knew she was not as prepared as she neded to be. Through this program, Wendy got help and now feels confident and relieved.
